Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and create innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends.

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.

  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels to minimize waste.

  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to promote a collaborative team environment.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain food hygiene standards.

  • Monitor food costs and adhere to budgetary guidelines while maximizing profitability.

  • Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.

Skills, Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience as a chef or in a similar role essential.

  • Exceptional cooking skills, creativity and passion for food, with the ability to innovate and stay current on culinary trends.

  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and food styles.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop and execute unique menu offerings.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Eager to combine your love for food with your leadership skills.

  • Computer skills is an added advantage.

  • Knowledge in Safety and hygiene awareness.

  • Excellent customer relations and people management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and under minimum supervision.

  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food preparation and kitchen operation.
